Under Protected and Over Restricted: the Right to Protest Seen by Children

The project proposes to “translate” the report made by Amnesty International, with/by/for children and young people to learn, interpret and share knowledge on the right to protest concerning their present and future. Creating community art with children is the basis for collective learning and for creating multimodal knowledge accessible to all ages. The workshops — to be held in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Hungary — build on the experiences of the Periferias Dibujadas project over the years in creating knowledge on urban conflicts and activism with children through collaborative research and art.
