During protests in Berlin expressing solidarity with Palestine, face coverings are frequently used as a justification to detain peaceful demonstrators. The project seeks to use legal loopholes to create a series of masks designed to challenge these regulations—tailoring their shape, form, color, and material to comply with legal requirements while still allowing individuals to conceal their identities during protests.
